There are a number of walks with circular routes throughout the Parish of Wembury. In either direction from the Cottage it is only a matter of minutes before you join the South West coastal footpath, with stunning sea views of the famous Plymouth Breakwater and Cornish coast. Wildlife is in abundance on these walks, with farm animals in fields all around. Village life in Down Thomas consists of a thirteen century pub with a good reputation for food and a local convenience shop selling most items you would wish for whilst on holiday. Within a few minutes drive you can enjoy a fine dining experience at the historic Langdon Court Hotel or for a more traditional fish and chip menu, the Eddystone Inn delivers
